Music
Chancel Choir
This traditional SATB choir supports the singing predominantly for the 8 a.m. worship service and meets each Thursday from 7 – 8:30 p.m. in the church music loft.
Cherub Choir
Youth age four and those in kindergarten meet during the school year each Thursday from 4 – 4:40 p.m. in the Social Hall and sing for worship once a month.
Hand Bell Choir
Four-octave Malmark bells are rung each Tuesday from 6 -7 p.m. in the music loft. One ringing position is currently available by audition. Call the church office.
Junior Choir
Youth in first grade and older meet each Thursday from 4:45 – 5:30 p.m. in the music loft. Besides singing for worship once month, youth learn basic music reading skills by the Kodaly method of study.
Praise Team
Singers accompanied by piano, bass guitar and drums lead worship at the 10:30 a.m. service each Sunday. Positions are open by audition.
Christmas Concert
An annual Christmas concert is presented by all of the music ensembles of the congregation the second Sunday of December each year. Our next concert is December 11, 2011 at 3 p.m. in the sanctuary.
Musicians
We are blessed to have the skills of many musicians – James Petri at pipe organ, Roger Halvorson at piano, Kristen Keebaugh at bass guitar and Ethan Bowler on drums.
