	Home Mission Worship Activities ...Music ...Fellowship ...Outreach> ...Education	We budget a great deal of time and dollars to support outside agencies and causes which provide avenues to feed the hungry, fight injustice, and spread God's word. We have directed funds to sixteen organizations. We support Christian Outreach Action through clothing & food collection, meal preparation and serving. We provide major support of Linda Gawthorne’s Kogi Indian ministry in Colombia.
				Linda Gawthorne is a missionary, serving in Columbia and is supported by our congregation and the ELCA. She has been working with the Kogi Indians, develolping a written language and translating the Scripture. Click here to see Linda's 2007 Thanksgiving/Christmas letter .

					The Cover Girls have been meeting weekly for over 35 years to make quilts for those in need. They have made over 1700 quilts. What a great way to spread God's love.

						Christian Outreach in Action's mission is to teach the disadvantaged the skills necessary to reach and sustain self-sufficiency, and to prevent homelessness. COA’s primary goal is to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness by assisting homeless and low-income people regain stability and self-sufficiency.
